Bread Poha

Ingredients

  • Oil 30 ml
  • Hing 1 gm
  • Mustard seeds 5 gm
  • Curry leaves 5 gm
  • Whole red chillies 10 gm
  • Cooked peas 50 gm
  • Peanuts, roasted 10 gm
  • Turmeric powder 5 gm
  • Salt 10 gm
  • Bread, chopped 2 Slices
  • Green chillies 10 gm
  • Lemon juice 10 ml
  • Coriander leaves 5 gm
  • Desiccated coconut 25 gm

Method

Take a pan & add oil to it to heat now add hing to the oil

Add Mustard seeds, curry leaves and whole red chillies

Sauté them for a while and add cooked green peas, roasted peanuts to the mixture and cook it until it turns golden brown

Add turmeric powder and salt to the masala & put the bread slices into it

Mix it well and sprinkle some water over it before adding green chillies, lemon juice and coriander. Lemon gives it a tangy taste

Now garnish it with desiccated coconut and serve hot
